Play Based Preschool Owner Opportunity

Reap & Sow Children’s Center, located in Ashland MA, is a play based preschool with a focus on the importance of co-regulation. We are the only area preschool that specializes in nervous system regulation through free play. At Reap & Sow we understand that childhood wellness is directly impacted by the health and happiness of the adults caring for them. For this reason educator wellbeing is a top priority. Work Hours & Benefits:

Educators at Reap & Sow “own” their classroom and operate as an independent business entity. This means that the success (or failure) that you experience is a direct reflection of the work you are willing (or not willing) to put in. You can read more about our business design below.

Reap & Sow is open weekdays from 9:00am-2:00pm. Educators are expected to be here at least 15 minutes prior to the children arriving, and should stay until after all children have left and the space has been tidied up for the following day. Reap & Sow is open year round with 8 weeks of built in vacation time. Educators are welcome to have a substitute teacher lined up for unexpected absences or planned vacations during our regular work schedule. All substitute teachers must meet our minimum criteria to work within the space.

Reap & Sow Children’s Center does NOT pay the educators within our program. Your clients pay you directly.  Your rent and supplies fee for use of space and supplies is due at the beginning of each month. Rental rates vary based on the number of children enrolled in your classroom.

Empowering Early Childhood Educators

Here's How:

01

Business Ownership

Higher Ground Private Association is the umbrella under which Reap & Sow operates. Each educator/classroom at HGPA is required to incorporate, thereby making each educator a business owner and independent contractor.

02

Personal Accountability

It is the intention of Higher Ground Private Associate to empower educators through each individual's unique entrepreneurial journey. Because of its unusual design, each educator is responsible for their own success, or lack there of, and are provided with ample opportunity to create an abundant life.

03

Continuing Education

In order to help ensure the success of the educators and small business owners who work with Higher Ground, weekly support meetings are available to help teach business skills, master necessary procedures, and acquire important information for individual and group success.

04

Pursuit of Happiness

Higher Ground Private Associate was created in order to help educators and the families they serve thrive. Our unique business design helps educators chase their dreams, pursue their goals, become financially abundant, and live with purpose, passion and joy.

Early childhood education

Meet Our Founder

Rebecca Negron, M.S.Ed.

Becky and her children.png

Becky is a mother, former special educator turned unschooling advocate, and passionate believer in freedom in childhood. She holds a master's degree in special education, and a bachelor's in psychology. She left her job as a public school teacher after the birth of her daughter, when she became acutely aware of the shortcomings of standardized education. Lessons in motherhood quickly taught Becky the importance of play and autonomy in childhood, leading her down a path of self-discovery and entrepreneurship. By way of her lifestyle, Becky encourages families to let go of unreasonable expectations of themselves and their children, and helps them embrace the power of play. Her own children are self-directed learners who have enjoyed a lifetime of learning through play. Becky expects her work to help alleviate many problems the childcare industry currently faces, and aims to help create happier, healthier homes and families.
